From a handful of IT enthusiasts to the largest body representing computer professionals in India, the Computer Society of India has come a long way since its foundation in 1965. The founding members felt the need to organize their activities and also wanted to share their knowledge and exchange ideas about the computer sector which was then newly emerging.
